This is just a network card, but wireless. It doesn't give internet access right out of the box. If you want to access internet you will need to join some internet-connected network.

I have a spot in my laptop for this card but there is no radio (wireless) button on the Dell Inspiron 4150 Laptop, either on the case or the keyboard. This makes me have my doubts if the mini card described in this forum will work for wifi. In addition the Dell user manual says their card is only 802.11/b compatible not g. Has anyone else used this card successfully to connect to 802.11/g when the card was added later instead of just replaced?
